This is one of the most detailed accounts of the development of the Amiga personal computer. The Amiga was a wonder of its time in terms of its novel architecture and its amazing multimedia capabilities.

The book chronicles the story of the development of the Amiga, the acquisition of the Amiga team and technology by Commodore and the eventual launch, triump and failures of the platform.

I particularly enjoyed the technical descriptions and details about the specialized chips “Agnus”, “Denise” and “Paula” and the tricks the Amiga team employed to produce superior graphics.
